- Omega-3 fatty acids present in halibut provides a wide range of cardiovascular benefits, such as helping in preventing erratic heart rhythms, making blood less likely to clot inside arteries that can cause heart attacks, and improving the ratio of 'good' HDL (High Density lipoprotein).
- Halibut is also a good source of vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and folic acid that lower levels of homocysteine, a compound that can damage artery walls.
- Halibut is a very good source of magnesium, a natural calcium channel blocker, which lessens resistance and improves the flow of blood, oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.
- Triglycerides, a kind of fat carried in bloodstream, can be lowered by two servings of omega-3-rich fish a week.
- Intake of halibut improves the electrical properties of heart cells thereby protecting against fatal abnormal heart rhythms and making less blood clot inside arteries.
- Omega-3's reduces inflammation, which is a key component in the processes that turns cholesterol into artery-clogging plaques.
- It reduces blood pressure, prevents arthritis and promotes healthy brain function.
- Consumption of fatty fish provides major protection against renal cell carcinoma, the most common form of kidney cancer. It also reduces risk of colorectal cancer.
- It offers significant protection against both early and late age-related macular degeneration and fends off dry eye syndrome.
- Eating halibut fish lowers the risk of certain types of strokes. In addition the selenium present in it is a crucial antioxidant which is very important for a healthy liver. Liver detoxifies and clears potentially harmful compounds such as pesticides, drugs, and heavy metals from the body.
- Halibut provides protection against ovarian and digestive tract cancers.

It is naturally present in small amounts in a wide variety of foods but is particularly high in organ meats such as heart, liver and kidney, as well as beef, soy oil, sardines, mackerel, and peanuts. To put dietary CoQ10 intake into perspective, one pound of sardines, two pounds of beef, or two and one half pounds of peanuts, provide 30 mg of CoQ10.

S - Strength - character, body, mind.
E - Exercise - Work on all 4 muscle groups...physical, mental, spiritual, emotional.
Physically - gym, yoga, swim, dance, run, walk, hike. Do something for 15 minutes per day.
Food is fuel on which we operate. Consume food that makes you feel good.*
Mental - mind/brain - Read, listen to audio program. There will be less chance of getting demensia/alzheimer's. Look up one vocabulary word per day and use it 3 different ways and times that day. Literacy sets you free in every respect (speak the language). Ask kids, “what did you learn today?” If they say "nothing", look something up and discuss it with them. It teaches them to come up with something new to learn every day.
You either evolve or you disolve.
Emotional - Ask yourself - "How can i reframe this?" "How can I look at this so I feel better?"
Economics - look to thrive, not to merely survive. The opportunity of a lifetime is NOW in this economy. It's a great time to be in business. It forces us to clean up our business systems and become more productive. Start a business. Reframing - look at the other side of the coin.
Spiritually - If you do not know love, you do not know God, because God is love. Start with self love. It’s impossible to love someone else til you can love yourself. Let it spill out so people can feel it around you. Not having love guarantees a lot of pain. Be kind to yourself.
When you judge someone, it puts you in a position where you believe you know their whole situation.
X - Excitement. Get excited about what you’re doing. Enthusiasm. Passion. If you want to get great at something, get passionate about it. Get excited about your goals and dreams. You reap what you grow.
You can get anything you want when you’re moving forward toward your goals...we feel great!

Now that we've explored the spirit of the heart, let's discuss ways to keep the heart physically healthy, strong and disease-free by intake of proper nutrition. Many cases of heart disease are totally preventable. We feel our best when we care for and honor our bodies, as these vessels get us through every minute of every day and night -- 24/7/365. We all eat, so it makes sense to make high quality food choices. Here are some suggestions to help keep us on the right track:

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.
Day Now - Thank You!
Thank you for sharing your lives, thoughts, and experiences.
Thank you for your dedication to creating miracles, for the courage to dream, birthing new visions, aspirations and manifestations.
Thank you for being You.
Now, you may be wondering 'What now?"
We believe our gathering has laid the foundation for an emerging new world ... one built on the principles and gentle strength of Love and Gratitude, and will continue to thrive as new ideas, projects, miracles and possibilities emerge.
Many are present now, others are seedlings just planted, being nurtured through a healthy dose of daily Gratitude.
Now we began this journey with a purpose -- to Align with the Heart's calling and Embrace the
Great-Full-ness of Life. We also invited you to set an intention, something to focus on and bring to Life throughout this process.
Today we invite you to re-visit this intention, and the journey, too, that has brought us here, NOW, together as One.
Breathe into your hearts and ask yourself this question, "What AM I Great-Full for today?"
Let this image, feeling, or memory flood through you, and fill every particle of your being. Take joy in accomplishments made. Release any attachment to how this might have been imagined, and simply Be with the beauty and perfection of All that IS.
As you feel inspired, share this unique insight, experience, healing or prayer of Gratitude with others.
Remember -- caring is sharing, and we each hold a 'peace' of the Grande Design. By opening our hearts, and shining Light on the beauty of our Lives, we inspire others to find and share the Great-Full-ness of Life, too -- together weaving a vision for our emerging world into being, and laying the foundation for change with Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Grace.
Together we are better, and we are blessed beyond measure to be here with you.
Our heartfelt thanks to each and every heart who welcomed incoming members of World Gratitude with sincerity, Love and appreciation. You set an example worthy of emulation and inspire us on a daily basis.
It feels wonderful to be together now, during this time of mass transformation, supporting one another through the shifts, sharing wisdom and resources, and enjoying what Is with Love and Gratitude.
To close, we believe Dag Hammarskjold's little prayer of
affirmation strikes the proper tone:
To Everything that has been--thanks
For Everything that will be--yes.
Thank you for standing together to witness the creation of a new world - and for the honor of being here with YOU.
In deep Love and Gratitude,
Stacey Robyn, Ken Herbert
