The Truth About Your Microwave

The microwave oven, although handy and easy for the active person, is not good for your health, especially when used on a daily basis.  Here are some of the reasons:

1. Carcinogenic toxins could be leached from plastic or paper plates or covers and mix with your food. (Those bubbled, rippled marks on the side of your plastic containers are a clue.)

2. Vegetables and other food lose valuable, cancer-fighting nutrients when cooked in the microwave. 

3. The chemical structure of foods changes when microwaved, with unknown consequences. 

4. Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.   

5. Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.   

6. Eating microwaved food can cause loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.


This information has changed many people’s relationship with their microwave.  

Why buy all organic produce just to have it zapped of its nutrients?  Microwaving irradiates all nutritional value from food, leaving you with a plate of empty calories. Why bother eating if you’re not going to get the nutritional benefits your body needs to keep you strong and vibrantly healthy? 

Heating soup, foods, or even hot water on the stovetop doesn’t take that much longer than by conventional means --- and the extra minute or two is certainly worth the quality of your health.
