Why Diet Drugs Don't Work

"Diets" don't work. Neither do diet drugs.

Diet drugs are created to affect the learning, memory, motivation, and habit circuits, which are also necessary for humans to function. Diet drugs will impact IQ and memory, as there are no selective agents to distinguish between shutting off a response to food stimulus or another unrelated stimulus.

Dr David Kessler, former FDA Commissioner, says "there's going to be considerable adverse events, because we really are mucking around with these circuits that are necessary for the rest of human function."

LNH advocates clean, organic and antibiotic/hormone-free nutrition, pure water, exercise, prayer/meditation and rest/sleep as the basis of a balanced lifestyle, optimizing vibrant health.
