What To Do If You're Mercury Poisoned

First, let's ask, "Who ISN'T mercury poisoned?" The answer is, anyone who hasn't drunk water, breathed air, etc. Mercury is the second most hazardous and toxic substance on the planet (plutonium is #1) -- and it's everywhere. Dental offices are known to be the biggest mercury polluters, as they dump amalgam down the drain and into our water source. (The responsible practices have amalgam separators.) There's no cleaning mercury up completely. It's just there...forever. Water washes on shore, so mercury gets into our soil (food source).

Mercury poisoning affects mostly everyone to one degree or another and can have deleterious effects on human health. You may feel fine right now as you read this blog, but people tend to lose their reference of what 'excellent health' feels like when they've been suffering with a slowing degenerative health issue, such as mercury poisoning. One day, you might feel so tired that you must take the day off to rest. The next day, you feel just as tired. And so on. Other symptoms (discussed on a previous blog) may accompany the exhaustion, and the condition continues to build, and develop more symptoms.

There are many ways to help detox the body, but understand that once mercury is in the body (or the land or the water source), it's there forever -- which is why it's IMPERATIVE we ban this substance globally. People notice an almost immediate improvement in health after amalgam removal.

So get those amalgams removed by a holistic or biological dentist well trained in proper amalgam removal procedures.

Cilantro's postulated mechanism of action is to act as a reducing agent changing the charge on the intracellular mercury to a neutral state allowing mercury to diffuse down it's concentration gradient into the connective tissue. This is called connective tissue mercury toxicity. The next step is to remove the mercury from the connective tissue. Mercury is preferentially attracted to the cell wall of the unicellular organism chorella. It can be also bound to sulfhydryl groups in garlic or to sulphur in the form of MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). To get the mercury out, the coriander/yellow dock herbal tincture is one of the best solutions. Also a herbal Milk Thistle combo, cleansing the liver (with nettle), detoxifying the liver and kidneys (milk thistle) purifying the blood (dandelion) boosting the immune system (cat's claw) is a good alternative. Furthermore a Soft Heat infrared sauna for detoxification is recommended. The clinical goal is to convert mercury into a state enabling it to be removed from the cells and be eliminated from the brain, connective tissues, lymph system, liver, gastrointestinal tract, and kidneys.

Another alternative is chelation therapy using chemicals like EDTA which has been available in Canada for several years and has been used to help remove these heavy metals. However, the more natural way would be to use herbal remedies coriander/yellow dock and Milk Thistle combo.

Dr. Omura performed another study in which three amalgams were removed from an individual using all of the precautions available to prevent absorption of the mercury from the amalgam. Even with strong air and water suctioning, water rinses and a rubber dental dam, significant amounts of mercury were later found in the individuals lungs, kidneys, endocrine organs, liver and heart. No mercury was detected in these tissues prior to the date of removal. It is therefore very important that you continue to use the herbal tinctures, Soft Heat infrared sauna or chelatin to detoxifying your body.

LNH suggests you see practitioners who are specifically trained and experienced with mercury removal and proper detoxification procedures. After removal, we do not suggest you attempt to detox on your own, as the body needs to be built up before it's detoxified.
