The Power of YOU!

Many bills have recently passed through congress quickly, and many citizens don't know anything about them until after the fact. Some of these bills are poorly written, and worse, infringe on our constitutional rights and freedoms, and don't have our best interests in mind.

"We, the people" are only powerless if we fail to exercise our voices.

We voted our representatives into office with the expectation that they would do what is right for "we, the people".

Just because these poorly written bills 'pass' doesn't mean that they can't be amended or overturned. However, we now must exercise our voices, written and/or verbal, to those who have a vote in Washington, DC.

Become part of the solution by immediately contacting your state and local representatives. Simply google your state representatives to find out when they will be holding meetings in your area. There are more and more of these meetings being held all the time, so become involved!

Below are two invitations I received for upcoming meetings to be held in Orange County, California. The reason I received these invitations is because I signed up on their email list. It's quick and easy.

It's time we all take charge of our freedom and the future of our great nation --- it only takes 5 minutes to google your reps, sign up and send an email with your concerns. This isn't about party affiliation --- it's about preserving your freedom and constitutional rights.

I'll be in attendance at these events:

I am holding a community meeting tomorrow night in Aliso Viejo at 6:30 pm and hope to see you there.

We will discuss the "State of our State" including jobs, and ways in which we can get California back on track.

Details:

April 8 - 6:30 pm - Aliso Viejo Conference Center, Ballroom B - 31 Santa Barbara Drive, Aliso Viejo

Please note that due to a scheduling conflict with the community center, a meeting in Oceanside will be held at a later date.

Please visit my website for more information at: www.assembly.ca.gov/harkey

We’d appreciate an RSVP to any of the meetings at (949) 347-7301, but feel free to drop by.

I hope to see you there.
